comedy.

demetri martin last night at rififi was golden.

i was pleased to find out that he will be having a series on comedy central come spring of next year. it should be good, considering some of the material he was testing out last night.

i especially enjoyed his coffee house signs.
- "free strips of paper"
- (arrow pointing to the left) "this sign is bullshit. call me to find out why."
- (drawing of an eye) "i'm watching you right now. call to make me stop." (and all the strips are gone)

thank you, vida, for showing me his videos; i probably would have forgotten all about him.

he didn't do anything like this, but it's good to watch anyways.

and this is what i saw him doing first, about a year ago:

there's also an interview with dave eggers' the believer if you wanted to hear more from the man himself.
