comments, however, will be made.

i was a fan of new kids on the block back when i was a kid and even when we all stopped being kids. but i find this comeback a bit ridiculous.

for one, they look seriously out of sync and out of shape. yes, it looks like they're having fun. they probably should have spent a bit more time working it out and practicing before coming out on national tv. i feel particularly bad for mr. jonathan knight, a.k.a. the one who dropped completely out of show business because he suffered from extreme anxiety attacks. he looked so out of it.

for another, what is this thing about "new style" that mr. wahlberg keeps yelling about? they seemed to be attempting to infuse a bit more latin flavor into their music, but i must point out that the latin wave receded before we entered the 21st century. remember when the 90's boy bands all had some spanish thrown into their songs? and how could we forget the rise (and subsequent dip back into obscurity)of acts like ricky martin, marc antony, and enrique iglesias? you "boys" are only about 10 years too late for this "new style."

i really wish people would stop making comebacks...
